Mystery Box Battle Modes and Formats
Jemlit’s PvP mystery box battles offer several different options and settings for play.
- Number of players: Battles can have anywhere from two to five players. All battles use a free-for-all format, so there are no teams. Only one player can win.
- Rounds: Battles can have 1 to 10 rounds. In each round, players will open the same box as one another at the same time.
- Boxes: Battle creators get to decide which mystery boxes players will open in each round. You can choose from any of Jemlit’s mystery boxes. The best battles usually include boxes within a similar mystery box category.
The number of players, rounds, and boxes chosen will all have an impact on how much a battle costs to join. In general, battles with more rounds and more valuable mystery boxes will cost more.
Importantly, there’s only one way to win mystery box battles: by collecting the largest total value of unboxed items across all rounds. It doesn’t matter who gets the single most valuable item or who wins each round. The winner is determined according to the sum of the value of each player’s unboxed items.
